To ensure fair customer experience for our subscribers through the efficient management of our network resources, all Mobile/Mobile Broadband usage is subject to this Traffic Management Policy. M1 may make changes to or revise this Traffic Management Policy at any time, which will be published on this website. By accessing and/or using our Mobile/Mobile Broadband services ("Service(s)"), you agree to be bound by any such changes or revisions. Please check back regularly to ensure that you are aware of any such changes or revisions.
If you exceed the applicable monthly local data capacity at any time during your monthly bill cycle, we may, without any prior notification to you, impose a speed limit of 512Kbps on the applicable Service(s) until the end of the affected bill cycle. Any speed limit imposed will be lifted at the start of your next bill cycle.
Unlimited Data Plans
In respect of customers who are on plans with unlimited data and whose monthly data usage exceeds 100GB (including Data Passport usage, if any), we may, without any prior notification to you, impose a speed limit of 512Kbps on the applicable Service(s). The speed limit will be lifted at 00:00 hours on your next billing cycle.
Legacy M1 plans with Unlimited Data
In respect of customers who are on legacy unlimited data plans and have excessive data usage, we may, without any prior notification to you, impose a speed limit of 512Kbps on the applicable Service(s). Any speed limit imposed will be lifted at 00:00 hours the following day. Legacy M1 plans with Unlimited Data include the following but not limited to:
Unlimited Weekend Data
In respect of customers who are on plans with unlimited weekend data and whose daily data usage on the weekends exceeds 10GB, we may, without any prior notification to you, impose a speed limit of 512Kbps on the applicable Service(s). The speed limit will be lifted at 00:00 hours on the next day.
