iPhone Tariff Terms and Conditions


  • iPhone Pricings are only applicable with a corresponding 24-month iPhone / Take3 Contract. iPhone plans are also not valid for supplementary plans, Sunsurf and Family & Friends value-added services. Customers are eligible for early re-contract after completing at least 11 months of their iPhone Contract, subject to payment of $300 as an early re-contract fee. Customers need not pay the early re-contract fee after 20 months into the iPhone Contract. Take3 terms and conditions apply for customers on a Take3 Contract, please refer to www.m1.com.sg/take3 for more details. For temporary suspension of service, downgrading of mobile plan and termination of line prior to the expiry of the iPhone Contract, a Termination / Downgrade charge applies.

  • “Unlimited” Calls, Messaging and Data usage are restricted to personal use and non-commercial purposes only. Any abuse, such as, but not limited to, SMS/MMS broadcasts or sending unsolicited material (Spam), will entitle M1 to revoke the customer's benefits, in M1's sole discretion. The Unlimited SMS/MMS is only valid for SMS/MMS sent to any local mobile numbers.

  • Free Local Data Bundle is available with download speed of up to 7.2Mbps and upload speed of 2Mbps. Excess usage above the free local data bundle of 12GB is charged at $0.0032/kb in blocks of 10kb, capped at a maximum of $30. While roaming overseas, prevailing data roaming charges apply.

  • Free Unlimited Calls to 3 M1 Numbers is valid till 31 December 2012 and applies to local voice calls only. A $10.70 administrative charge applies for any change of the M1 numbers.

  • All-day Free Incoming Calls is valid till 31 December 2012.

  • Free IDD021 Calls to 19 Destinations is only applicable for voice calls made to any residential and mobile line in Bangladesh, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and Vietnam. Also free voice calls made to any residential line in Australia, UK and New Zealand, while voice calls made to any mobile line in Australia, UK and New Zealand are at fixed rates of $0.28/min, $0.30/min and $0.50/min respectively. All free IDD 021 calls are charged at local voice call rate and are deducted from the free local outgoing voice bundle. Not valid with the iPhone Unlimited plan.

  • M1 Student & NSF Benefits is applicable to all students and full-time National Servicemen below 26 years of age on all iPhone plans except iPhone Unlimited plan. Applicant's NRIC and original student pass / SAF identity card must be presented upon sign-up. M1 Student & NSF Benefits is valid for 24 months from date of registration, after which re-registration is required with valid student pass / SAF identity card. Free Unlimited SMS / MMS is only applicable for new and re-contracting customers (completed at least 20 months of current handset contract) who are eligible for M1 Student & NSF benefits. The Unlimited SMS / MMS is only valid for SMS / MMS sent to any local mobile numbers. Free Campus / Army Camp Calls (capped at $64.20/mth) is applicable after bundled talktime for local voice calls made within the designated Campus / Army Camp Zones to any local residential and mobile numbers. M1 Student benefits promotion is also valid for staff from any of the campus zones. Campus staff must produce a valid staff pass to sign up for the M1 Student benefits. Free Data Bundle of $5.35 is only applicable when the iPhone plans’ free data bundle has been consumed. Thereafter, prevailing rates for data usage apply.

  • $300 Handset Re-contract Voucher is issued after 12 months with continuous subscription on iPhone Unlimited plan. Not available to customers with a Take3 contract. Terms and conditions for usage of the voucher apply.

  • Multi-Line Saver is applicable with subscription to a minimum of three M1 postpaid lines on Free Incoming Calls plans or Broadband plans under the same NRIC/FIN number and will enjoy a discount as listed on the table above on the monthly subscription of the eligible service plans, excluding value-added services and/or usage charges. The discount will be applied monthly on eligible active service plans which are not suspended/terminated, during the billing period for the respective bills to which the discount applies. Not available to M1 Enterprise Mobile/Broadband plans with corporate discount and customers registered under government groups.

  • Tariff Rebate Promotion is only valid with an iPhone purchased from Authorised Apple Resellers. Customers must bring along their iPhone and sign up / re-contract on the eligible plans with 24-month iPhone Service Contract. Existing customers with no contract are eligible for this promotion. Each iPhone is entitled to only one Tariff Rebate promotion. Customers who have more than 3 months remaining on their iPhone Service Contract are not eligible for another new iPhone / Take3 / Mobile Phone / Device / Service Contract. The tariff rebate will be credited as a discount on the monthly subscription of the eligible plan, spread over a period of 24 months.

  • Prices stated are inclusive of 7% GST. Excess local voice & video call usage is charged at 16.05¢ per minute, based on per second billing. Excess SMS & MMS is charged at 5.35¢ each. Separate $26.75 SIM card and $10.70 registration charges apply for both new line connection and Multi-SIM service. M1 terms and conditions apply.
