1. What does IDD stand for?
  IDD stands for International Direct Dialing. This direct dialing service enables you to make international calls without going through the operator.
   
2. How many destinations can I call using Premier IDD 002?
  M1 connects you to over 230 destinations. With our Premier IDD 002, you can be assured of the best coverage all the time.
   
3. How are the rates different for Premier IDD 002 service as compared to SingTel 001 and StarHub 008 service?
  Premier IDD 002 offers non-peak rates to top 25 countries. This would enable you to make longer calls at lower costs during the non-peak period.

   
4. What is the difference between IDD Non-peak and GSM Off-peak hours?
  IDD Non-peak hours consist of the GSM Off-peak and Super-off peak hours.
   
5. How will my Premier IDD 002 calls be charged?
  Your calls will be charged in blocks of 6 seconds.
   
6. Is there any fixed first minute block charge?
  No, there is no fixed first minute call charge.
   
7. I'm an existing M1 customer, do I have to register to use Premier IDD 002 service?
  No, existing M1 customers do not have to register to use the Premier IDD 002 service. It is automatically available on your mobile phone.
   
8. Can I use Premier IDD 002 on my M Card?
  Yes, you can.
   
9. Who needs to register or apply to use Premier IDD 002?
  All home fixed line users, SingTel or StarHub mobile users will be required to register with M1 in order to use 002. Click here to register now or call 1627.
   
10. Do I need to pay any registration fees when applying for Premier IDD 002?
  There are no registration fees.
   
11. How can I go about terminating Premier IDD 002?
  Just give us a call at 1627 and we will have your IDD service terminated within 24 hours.
   
12. How do I prevent unauthorized international calling access?
  For mobile phone customers, you can either manually activate the call barring feature in your phone or give us a call at 1627.
   
13. How do I activate the call barring system in my mobile phone?
  To activate call barring service, you can follow these steps:
  Press * 3311 * Password2 # Call

   
14. How can I change the call barring password?
  To change the call barring password, you can follow these steps:
  Press **03*330*Old Password*New Password *New Password #Call
   
15. I'm an M1 customer, how will I receive my bills?
  Premier IDD 002 charges will be reflected in your mobile phone bill on a monthly basis.
   
16. How can I be assured that I will be billed accurately for all IDD calls made?
  Your IDD bills will show a detailed breakdown of all international calls that you have made.
   
17. I'm an M1 customer, can I simply press '+' , instead of dialing 002 to make an international call?
  Yes, M1 customers can just press + to make international calls. All the calls made using + will be charged at Premier IDD 002 rates.

   
18. What's the customer service hotline?
  Just dial 1627, followed by 5 for enquiry on Premier IDD 002 services.
   
19. I'm an existing M1 customer, how do I know if I am able to use Premier IDD 002?
  You will be able to use Premier IDD 002 as long as you have IDD access through your mobile phones. There are two ways that you can check:
 
If you have been able to dial IDD 001 or 008 with your mobile phone previously
Try making an international call by dialling 002 now!
   
20. I'm an existing M1 customer, under what circumstances will I be restricted from making IDD calls?
  Generally, you will be restricted from using Premier IDD 002 if you are under 21 years old or above 65 years old. Foreigners holding work permit, 'R' passes or dependent passes are also not eligible for the service
